Soho Cars has been moving Londoners since 1993 from our base on Lexington Street in the heart of Soho, W1. We are fully licensed by Transport for London (PCO), every journey is driven by a TfL-licensed driver, and every vehicle is regularly inspected for cleanliness and roadworthiness. Our roots are in the West End, but our cars cover the whole of Greater London: a late-night pickup in Mayfair, an early run to Heathrow, a school collection in Wandsworth or a client meeting in Canary Wharf.

Do you only cover Soho?
No. We are based in Soho, W1, but our drivers cover the whole of Greater London, every London airport and long-distance journeys anywhere in the UK.
Are your drivers licensed?
Yes. Soho Cars is fully licensed by Transport for London (PCO) and every driver holds a TfL private hire licence. Our vehicles are regularly inspected for cleanliness and roadworthiness.
How much free waiting time do I get at the airport?
We include 40 minutes of free waiting time for European flights and one hour for international flights. After that, waiting time is charged in 15-minute increments.
What is the difference between a minicab and a black cab?
A minicab (private hire vehicle) must be pre-booked through a licensed operator such as Soho Cars rather than hailed on the street. Pre-booking means you know your quote before you travel and your driver is waiting for you.
How can I pay?
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards. Payment is normally taken at the end of the journey unless arranged otherwise.
Can I book a child seat?
Yes. Child seats are available on request, subject to availability. Please ask for one when you make your booking.
Can I hire a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover for a wedding or event?
Yes. Our luxury chauffeur range includes the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Range Rover Vogue LWB 2026 and Mercedes Landjet. We recommend booking early for weekends and wedding season, and we can arrange other vehicles on request.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pickup time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged the full fare. See our terms and conditions for details.
